LingoPick Privacy Policies

1.1 Translation Service Data

• All translation data is obtained through certified third-party APIs (including but not limited to OpenAI, DeepSeek, etc.)
• Translation requests only include the text content you select, with no attached user identity information or device identifiers

1.2 User-Saved Data

When you actively save a word, we store the following information:

• The saved word and its translation
• The contextual sentence containing the word
• The source webpage URL (for contextual reference only)
• Timestamp of saving (for sorting purposes)
• User ID (a hashed unique identifier, not plain-text personal information)

1.3 Locally Stored Data

Browser local storage includes:

• User preference settings
• JWT token (for user authentication)

2.1 Transmission Security

• All network communications are encrypted via HTTPS TLS 1.2+
• Content Security Policy (CSP) protections implemented

2.2 Storage Security

• Server data encrypted using AES-256
• Data isolation enforced via PostgreSQL Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Firewall and intrusion detection systems in place

3.1 User Rights

You retain the following rights at all times:

• Access all saved data
• Permanently delete your account and all associated data

3.2 Data Retention

• Account data retained until user-initiated deletion

4.1 Translation API Providers

• Third-party API providers are prohibited from retaining or misusing your text data
• No user identity information is shared

4.2 Infrastructure Services

• We use Supabase hosting services, transmitting only necessary data
• All sub-processors undergo GDPR compliance assessments

5.1 Children's Privacy

Strict compliance with COPPA regulations:

• No active collection of information from children under 13
• Discovery of children's data will result in immediate deletion
